Ethnic and Cultural Celebrations

The Catholic Church is multi-cultural by its very nature. Every culture and ethnicity has contributed extensively in her growth and progress from her inception. The goal of the cultural and ethnic celebrations at our church is to learn and reflect on those great contribution of each culture to the church and to encourage the inclusion and fuller participation of all God's People in the life and ministry of the Church by building up their Catholic identity in a spirit of unity in diversity. Racial and ethnic diversity is an expression of God’s manifold beauty. No single race or its culture can comprehensively display the infinite glory of God’s image, so He gave us our differences to help us appreciate His splendor from various perspectives. God’s common and special grace even work themselves out in the providential movement of a particular race’s culture and history. We can look back on the brightest and darkest moments of our past and see God at work.
